A warm welcome to the Bio Hotel & Bio Herberge LindenGut, the first certified organic hotel in the biohotels network in Hesse. Nestled between woods and meadows, our organic hotel lies at the foot of the Hessian Rhön. We are a place of balance in the heart of nature, very close to the Baroque city of Fulda. True to the motto ‘simple, meaningful and vibrant’, we combine over 45 years of organic farming history with natural hospitality in the Hessian Rhön.

We offer culinary delights made from the finest ingredients sourced from our Demeter-certified farm, alongside cultural and sensory experiences. All our rooms are individually furnished and offer a bright, airy atmosphere, featuring high-quality natural materials and comfortable natural mattresses. Combined with our organic cuisine, they offer the purest luxury of natural simplicity.

Like comes to like. From the very start, 80% of the ingredients we use come from LindenGut’s own Demeter-certified farm. From the fields and the barn to the garden.
Spanning 60 square metres, we offer a wide range of around 800 products for all your weekly shopping needs. We are also proud supporters of Organic Animal Husbandry (ÖTZ), a demonstration partner of the BLE (Federal Office for Agriculture and Food) and the Fulda Eco-Model Region, a Demeter partner, and a member of the Rhön umbrella brand.
With our community garden, ‘Uns’r Gart’n’, we want to give households the chance to enjoy fresh, seasonal Demeter vegetables straight from the field – by harvesting them themselves.

To create a special sleeping environment, each of our individual rooms is dedicated to a specific type of wood (e.g. Swiss stone pine or cherry). Without exception, all the furniture is made from this single type of wood – for your unique, natural sense of well-being.

The Bio Herberge is expanding its facilities to include 16 rooms made from eco-friendly spruce timber and three meeting rooms, which are designed for exclusive group and family gatherings and offer comfort (exclusive, centralised bathroom facilities, guesthouse catering, sauna) whilst ensuring maximum privacy (no single beds available for hire)

The organic farmhouse is situated 150 metres from the main house and comprises two holiday flats, three apartments and four en-suite rooms directly above the farm shop. The accommodation features metal-free beds, and the flats also have a kitchenette and a balcony.

Naturally simple and simply natural. From May to September, the meadow behind the LindenGut Bio Hotel is transformed into a glamping site featuring a sleeping barrel, two portable beds, a tree tent and a summer hut.
