In our organic farm shop, you can purchase the finest Demeter organic eggs in packs of 10, 90 or 180, or loose, from Tuesday to Friday between 10:00 and 18:00 and on Saturdays from 7:30 to 13:00. We also stock a range of other home-made and regional organic produce, such as meat, bread, pasta, cheese, drinks, spreads and other everyday essentials.
You can easily reach our organic farm shop from Fulda by car (directions). Our farm shop, with its many free parking spaces, is located right on the main road. There is also an electric charging point for cars on site. Outside opening hours, there is a 24-hour vending machine selling eggs and other items directly in the car park.
Our Demeter chickens of the Cream & Coffee or Chili breeds from ÖTZ (Ökologische Tierzucht) live in mobile coops. These mobile coops are moved regularly, allowing the hens and roosters to enjoy fresh, high-quality greenery to their heart’s content, whilst always having their comfortable, permanent coop with them.
This species-appropriate husbandry provides our Demeter chickens with year-round access to the outdoors and encourages them to enjoy plenty of sunbathing and dust bathing. This allows our chickens to maintain their vitality and health in a completely natural way. You’ll taste the difference in every egg!
In addition to species-appropriate organic rearing in our mobile chicken coop and organic feed, we are committed to ensuring that the birds are not overbred and that the male chicks are raised alongside the females.
Our hens not only lay eggs but also put on weight. Although this happens much more slowly with our Cream & Coffee dual-purpose breed, it is gentler on the animals and they are happier – and that’s what matters!
With every egg we sell, we support organic poultry farming to promote purebred poultry and the rearing of roosters. We manage the entire cycle, from rearing to slaughter, under one roof.
